Don’t touch my soccer ball
It’s mine
It’s round like me
Bouncy and buoyant
You can kick it into the clouds
If you’re strong enough
Just like you can to me
I’ve been kicked into the clouds by my dad
He’s like 20 feet tall
and people call him the big G-O-D
My dad isn’t real
But sometimes I can’t tell if i wish he was
Don’t touch my soccer ball
Even if it is rolling around too much
I roll around too much!
What are you going to do
stick me in the cupboard too!?
You haven’t even played with my soccer ball
And yet you have the audacity for your first interaction with it to be imprisonment
You’re probably gonna be one of those old men that keep the sports balls that accidentally end up in your yard and never give them back
You’re not
You’re nice
I’m just sad because I’m at the park
Wishing I had my soccer ball
But I don’t
Because it wasn’t where I left it
